Wedding Gifting
I love giving gifts! I love planning them out and picking out fun things to make my loved ones happy.
A lot of gift-giving goes on during the process of getting married. Yes, you receive a lot of gifts! But you also give a lot of them during your time as a bride.
There are bridesmaid and groomsman proposal gifts, party hostess gifts, shower hostess gifts, day-of gifts, thank you gifts…
Even if you love giving gifts, planning it all out can become a little overwhelming. So I wanted to share all my gifting ideas to make it easier on other brides!
Choosing the Gift
My bridesmaids threw us the most amazing beer-themed engagement party in the bar area of one of our favorite local restaurants.
To match the party theme, I went with beer-themed gifts!
What was in the gift?
I stuffed the gift boxes with a beer snack, a coozie, and a beer-themed candle.
My husband’s favorite snack is Dot’s pretzels. And Dot’s make perfect beer snacks. When I found individually wrapped ones, I knew they were perfect for my beer gift (linked below)!
If you’re having a beer party, you must have a coozie. We used these during the party, and the girls were able to use them at home afterwards. It seems like coozie’s are always disappearing, so I always appreciate getting them for gifts (linked below)!
I found the perfect candles on Amazon! I’ll link them below. The candles came in different beer scents so that I could give each bridesmaid a candle scented like her favorite beer. There were even Merlot-scented candles for the girls that prefer wine!
I love that the candles come from a small business, are made in the USA, and are hand-poured into recycled beer bottles.
Wrapping the Gift
I ordered these cute brown boxes from Amazon (linked below)!
Putting the gifts in these little boxes without messing with wrapping paper and tape was a huge time saver!
I filled them with Kraft paper filler (linked below). Then I tied them up with the jute string that came with the boxes.
The “thank you” tags also came from Amazon (linked below). These were great to have on hand for wedding gift-giving! I used them on all my hostess and thank-you gifts!
Last, I added little metal keys to the boxes for extra decoration. But they’re actually bottle openers that you can keep on your key chain! So they were fun for my beer theme!
Personalizing the Gift
I labeled the little tags with each girl’s name and “wedding title.”
I also wrote them a thank-you note on cute navy notes that matched my gifts and packaging (linked below).
